Step-by-Step Usage
1. Data Input
- Add rows for each data category/series. Click Add Row or use Add Multiple Rows for bulk input.
- Edit cells directly: click any value to update it, just like a spreadsheet.
- To clear all data, use the Clear All button.
Tip: You can paste tabular data directly from Excel/Sheets to speed up entry.
2. Select Chart Type
Choose your desired visualization:
- Bar Chart (Vertical/Horizontal): Classic comparison; great for temporal, categorical, or ranking data.
- Pie/Donut Chart: Show proportions of a whole; donut adds a central cutout.
- Line/Area Chart: Reveal trends over continuous variables like time.
Change orientation as needed—vertical vs horizontal affects only bar/area charts.
3. Color Customization
- Pick a color scheme (Vibrant, Pastel, Monochrome, Gradient) or set Custom to pick individual segment or bar colors.
- Define gradient colors (start and end) for a harmonized look, or use Randomize Colors for playful charts.
- Use Reset to Defaults if you want to return to the starter palette.
4. Chart Settings
- Name your chart (Chart Title), and label axes for bar and line types (X-Axis, Y-Axis titles).
- Toggle Show Gridlines for readability.
- Enable 3D effect for cylindrical vertical bars with Enable 3D.
- Show or hide data labels (value or percent on each segment/bar).
- Change Background Color and set opacity from fully transparent to solid for design flexibility.
5. Instant Chart Generation
Click Generate Chart — your chart will render live. All settings apply instantly, with animation guided by your preferences (Bounce, Smooth, Linear).
6. Exporting Charts
- Pick your Export Format: PNG (web), JPEG (documents), PDF (print), SVG (vector editing).
- Click Export to instantly download your chart in high resolution, ready for publications or slides.
7. Analytical Summary
Use Analytical Summary to inspect data insights, including category statistics, totals, and highlights of largest/smallest values. The Copy Summary button copies this analysis for use in reports or emails.
8. Sharing & Embedding
- Generate a Shareable Link for your exact chart settings (no sign-in required), or copy the Embed Code for blogs or web pages.
9. Quick Settings
Adjust Chart Theme (Light, Dark, Colorful) for best fit with your content. Animation settings allow personalizing the entry effect style.
Best Practices & Tips
- Always label charts and axes for better understanding by viewers.
- Use color intentionally—vibrant for screens, pastel/monochrome for printing or subtlety.
- Don't overcrowd: for clarity, limit categories/segments to about 5–12 per chart.
- For accessibility, use high contrast colors and labels.
- Test your chart in both light and dark themes to confirm readability.
⚠️ Troubleshooting:
- If your chart doesn't display, ensure data is correctly entered and chart type is selected.
- Imports/exports failing? Check file/cell formats, and browser permissions.
- If share/embed isn't working, refresh and try again, or check your internet connection/firewall.
